For as long as I remember aviation was my hobby. I was born in small town Ryki in Poland, located a few miles from Polish Air Force Academy in Deblin. I used to see many LiM-2, LiM-5, MiG-21and TS-11 Iskra airplanes flying almost every day over my head... I came to the United States in 1994 and a few months later and I bought my first Canon camera - Elan II QD. That was the beginning of the long journey of photographing military and civilian aircraft, documenting airshows, working as a photojournalist, or simply just hanging around the airports and taking hundreds of pictures of flying machines. My work can be found on numerous aviation websites and was published in aviation magazines in many countries. I've been using Canon bodies and lenses ever since. Currently, I live in New York.
